Blogs I am sorry to hear about everyone who was disappointed

Like you mention, I'm also very sick of spending $60 for a 10-15 hour match. And that I have a fantastic job and salary and operate full-time. It still feels like too much.

If a game takes more than that then the chances of me actually completing it crash. I work full time and have a fairly shitty schedule so that I can really only game on the weekends most of the time.

I've also discovered that devs throw in a great deal of useless filler crap or they inflate the problem of this game so that it takes longer because they know they'll face backlash if it is too short. I really hate feeling like my time has been wasted.

Games that are 10 hours or less are ideal. I'll happily spend $60 on a 8-10 hour game that's concise and doesn't waste my own time.

You are correct though, the change is now very much a thing that's only good on event. In a ideal world Nintendo would be investing in fresh party content to where they are dropping a brand new game (or even a interface provided that it's not $60) every couple months however. . That really doesn't occur. Even a gamecube library like you said would knock my socks off.

On twitter I turned on notifications for @Wario64 and @PS5Stockalerts which got me close a couple of times but that I had no luck, although other people got it for certain.

I would say find a subreddit for it I utilized the PS5 subreddit back in early December to get updates before those men even tweeted . Idk when the sub has a dedicated thread to finding PS5s like it failed but I will guarantee there is something on reddit somewhere just for PS5 sales

Absolutely loved this Direct, together with the highlights being Splatoon 3 (I have almost 500 hours in the second match and possibly 200-300 in the very first game) and Triangle Strategy. Pyra and Mythra in Smash is cool, I can not wait to finally try out Hades (I was waiting for a physical release), Mario Golf looks interesting (have not ever played a Mario Golf game before), I will probably check out the Age of Calamity DLC, and Skyward Sword HD gives me a reason to get around to that match, although having WW and TP with SS in a collection could have been better. Seeing some new Monster Hunter Rise monsters and mechanisms reminded me how much I'm excited about the game (I've never played with a MonHun game before, but sunk 10-15 hours to the demo and I am hooked ). No More Heroes 3 looks good but I want to play the first two , and I've heard great things about Miitopia and the Ninja Gaiden series.
