NA localization looks like a rush job however

NA localization looks like a rush job however. Gods be operative. Apparently they were translated in accordance with regional knowledge/culture, and consequently those dumb names. The narrative script is just fine though, barring the occasional typo? Like come on there is some idiotic script problems in the game here and there but the Arks-Layer translation is only serviceable, not worthy of being put up on a pedestal over an official translation effort. Yes, it is, because unlike the official translation, it really translates things.

Unless they suddenly re-quadrupled their attempts after I ceased playing Ep6, there were holes in the Arks-Layer translation you could drive a ship through. Bear in mind this as an addendum into the next points: The absence of taste text on gear is unsatisfactory but a result of the size of distributing such a large volume of content in this short span. TBH, the loss is a minor one given how much gear is going to get cycled into irrelevance. I dunno what to tell youpersonally, aside from an occasional eyebrow raiser such as the issue with Io's Party Client Order and the small meme of"Gods be operative" (Which got fixed), I haven't seen that lots of mistakes proportional to the entire text and most of it is fairly minor. Glitches were abound in the fan translation too, but they got about eight years to continuously get bug reports. How many people here actually try sending support tickets through the pso2 site rather than meme on reddit? I am pretty sure a support ticket was how the gods be surgical thing was fixed.

Falspawn and Darker are the same amount of syllables, it's at best slightly more effortful to state the former. "NA Afin Exists" lmao. (Honestly, this is irrelevant to the debate of the arks-Layer translation, change to JP Voices when this pisses you off a lot, Arks-layer didn't make a dub.) why bother? If you're english minding the english version for proper translations, why don't you play jp? Wow, it's almost like I would like to play with different men and women who do not need to play the JP version. I completely get the desire for that, but I think there are a couple of valid reasons why they might choose to not. I am the manager for the U.S. launch of the Xbox version as well as the Asian release of PSO 2, that was released before the U.S. version. So I'm sort of the localization specialist. When he states"the oriental release", this is not referring to the jp server, right? It is referring to this SEA server (with comically bad translations) that shut down years ago?

I wouldn't fret too much. He is a liason about the SEGA ending, so he's essentially there to act as the middleman between SEGA's main corporate/PSO2 development end and whatever firms were given publishing rights to the Asian variations. He probably had minimal real control on the way the companies ran the servers besides laying down absolute ground rules, which probably needed to be harsher given SEA introducing expiring affixes with weapon possible effects on cosmetics. Basically you would still wish to look towards Microsoft as the real publishers of PSO2NA and exactly what they are doing and saying regarding management of their servers. It might also be that'maintaining the service' is also referring to the challenges of keeping a quick content speed essentially going more than 8 years of game in 8 MONTHS, as well as attempting to prime the audience for a pseudo-successor that is due out for a worldwide launch when articles parity is achieved. It was really much the same thing (although arguably the Plains of Eidolon and also the newer areas definitely have far more visually moving on) where you wander into an open field with your party, explore, battle monsters, and perform quests out in the field. You could also strike NPC's outside in the area though Dragon's Dogma Online was very empty and devoid of people for the most part and has been filled with enemies and items to collect.
