EOC fans are an integral part of my daily life. It's amazing how RS gold technology and games continue to improve. Recall 13 years ago the release of Runescape. Consider how technology has changed over the past 13 years.

Consider the number of runescape players who left to join other MMORPGs which use a similar system. Of course I am talking about World of Warcraft. While I don't think runescape should look more like WOW, it is a common custom for the majority of players to use EOC-style HCI. What is the reason 99% of players do this?

Because it has been proved to work. Updates like this runescape are essential to the survival of the game. Jagex must earn profits, pay taxes and pay its workers. They would lose the game if they did not maintain runescape on par with their competition.

All things are dependent on change and evolution, but technology is making this even more crucial. While you could claim that humans are the dominant species due to changes in their surroundings, that isn't the case.

Although I don't know your age, consider the 20 years that have passed since then. Users of technology have had to adapt through VCRs to CDs to DVDs, and also through various interface devices (touchscreen being a major one). In the age of technology, which gaming falls into the category of, adapting is essential for the player. It would be great to have Runescape keep up with its competition and endure for a long time However, Runescape has decided to slow down because it doesn't want to update the game with major changes.

EoC isn’t the issue. To me, it's just more clicks to get the same outcome The best part is being able to store emotes in a queue. WoW is simple to play. There are 80 keys, and a minigame to improve DPS or learning new strategies in PvP. I am a big fan of mind control enemies on cliffs.

How EoC was born is the issue. Its origins are identical to Solomon's and SoF. It's imposed on players. One Jmod recently posted about a forum post that revealed certain bugs within BA and said it was good constructive feedback. Later posters noted that although all these bugs were identified and reported to Jagex, they still made the cut.

Players weren't even involved at the very beginning of the game, which took place just two years ago. Runescape isn't able to survive by ignoring players. EVE Online doesn't, WoW doesn't. Both of these gave me jaw-dropping service compared to Runescape. So I don't worry about EVE or WoW surviving. It's been proven to work. Runescape wouldn't have been created if this argument was applicable to new versions. MMOs have been in existence for cheap RuneScape gold over 15 years. That's not much time to already have traditional solutions.
