Heroes of The Storm has arrived on the market late, putting itself in the uncomfortable position of having to chase two giants like League of Legends and DOTA 2, games that over the years have practically not missed a hit attracting more and more players and substantially opening the doors to the e mass sports. The Blizzard MOBA therefore had to work a lot more than expected, with a couple of complete revisions that have led it to be the title of this genre with the least invasive microtransactions ever and with a constant amount of updates unmatched by anyone else.

After all, the great advantage of Heroes of the Storm is that of being able to draw on universes with infinitely charismatic and already loved characters, putting aside in short all the part of design that in the other titles must instead be produced substantially from scratch. With a constant growth of this type it is impossible not to find something new to do when accessing HotS, whether it is to participate in a new weekly fight or take part in a new event out of your mind, perhaps thought to investigate the Lore as it happened with the rise of the Lord of the Ravens or simply to have fun like the latest Nexomania. But there were also themed events such as those for the arrival of the universe of Diablo, Starcraft and Overwatch, and today we are here to give you a sneak preview of what awaits us in a few weeks, if you love World of Warcraft get ready because HotS Boosting has a surprise immense for you.

The new update for Heroes of the Storm seems really cool, but above all because the theme is particularly close to our heart. We have been playing for years with the Vanilla version of WoW and as a result we have spent whole days massacring hordes in the mountains of Alterac. When Matthew Cooper, Hots Lead Content Designer, then revealed Blizzard willingness to bring the Alterac Valley Battleground to their MOBA, we jumped for joy. As we said before in the incipit the developers are lucky enough to be able to tap into memorable moments in the history of video games and the battles of Alterac, as were those of Tarren mill at the time or invasions in the cities, are now a point very firm on which to lean. Alterac Pass will be a three line battle, obviously with bosses, cores and minions inspired by the historical World of Warcraft battleground. Just like then, the two teams that face each other will have the task of putting the enemy camps on fire, destroying the towers in their path and ending up killing the leader of the opposite faction.

This time we are talking about a real NPC and not just any Nexus, a boss able to move, to attack in area and with an enormous regenerative power that will put him in a position to return full of life in case he leaves the fight for too much time. What awaits us in Alterac Pass will therefore be a dynamic confrontation and, on paper, particularly amusing, with some unusual mechanics capable of forcing the clashes throughout the game. Destroying fortresses will be extremely important to make the bosses lose much of their armor, thus making them vulnerable to direct attacks. It will therefore be up to the players to understand whether to push on the accelerator and try the sortie at the Nexus or clean the entire map and have a simpler fight at the end, obviously having to always pay close attention to the Heroes of the Storm Boosting adopted.
