Anodizing is the most important point about the surface of workshop treatmen.

Anodizing is the most important point about the surface of workshop treatment: we only provide silver / natural anodizing materials (technical term is E6 / EV1). Unfortunately, we do not have facilities for the production of color anodized materials. You can find some profiles directly in the anodized design aluminum online store.
at this time, we can only order finished products and surface refined materials directly from the online aluminum store.

Now there is more information about anodizing process and surface properties
In the electrolytic oxidation of aluminum, anodic oxidation will form about 5 - 25 micron oxide layer. The layer is about 20 meters by decorative anodizing. This method provides protection against corrosion or corrosion. Usually, decorative anodizing is just for a more beautiful appearance. It is important that no additional layer is applied to the aluminum during anodization. Anodizing creates a layer made of existing aluminum. The oxide layer is completely integrated into the material to form a strong molecular bond. Compared with the blank aluminum profile, the aluminum profile has a good, uniform and somewhat dull surface structure. In wet room areas (bathrooms / showers) or interiors (skirting boards / skirting boards), we generally recommend the use of anodized profiles.

Compared with decorative anodizing, technological anodizing can also be selected. If you order anodized profiles, you will always receive decorative anodized materials, which are available in E6 / EV1 process with a layer thickness of about 20 my. For different aluminum profiles of the same size, due to different chemical compositions (depending on the delivery plant and batch), the appearance may show slight differences in anodizing layer and optical quality in individual cases.

What does E6 / EV1 mean?
The coating method is determined here. The first part describes the pretreatment type of aluminum, and the second part describes the hue / color

How to clean anodized aluminum correctly?
In order to clean the anodized aluminum profile correctly, we recommend to use pH neutral cleaner which does not affect the aluminum oxide layer. In this way, the reaction between water and oxygen is excluded and there is no oxidation, which will be shown as bright white spots on the material. Finally, delivery instructions for surface treated aluminum, whether or not it is coated by anodizing or other methods.

Even with the utmost care, slight damage to the surface can occur. Unfortunately, this can never be completely avoided for individual lengths taken out of the warehouse and sawn to size. Of course, when selecting profiles to be anodized, our staff will ensure that the surface is as optimized as possible. It should also be considered that the actual chemical process requires the contact surface between the anode and cathode. With these, they may not be optically perfectly anodized.

Especially for unstable long profiles, at least one additional clamping point is needed in the middle. This is due to technical reasons, which unfortunately cannot be avoided.
