AC Milan veteran striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic has officially extended his contract with the Rossoneri (AC Milan's nickname) for another year. The certainty of Zlatan Ibrahimovic's new contract was reported directly by AC Milan through its official website on Monday (18/7/2022).

Reporting from AC Milan's official website, the San Siro-based team looks happy that Zlatan Ibrahimovic is still part of his team. The reason is, the player is still included in the projection of the AC Milan squad.

"AC Milan is pleased to announce that they have reached an agreement for the rights to the performance of Zlatan Ibrahimovic," wrote AC Milan's official website.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic tied to AC Milan on a one-year contract. The 40-year-old player can contribute for 12 months with AC Milan in the upcoming 2022-2023 season.

"The Swedish striker has signed a contract with the club until 30 June 2023 and will continue to wear the Rossoneri's number 11 jersey," added AC Milan's official announcement.

Reportedly, Zlatan Ibrahimovic gets a contract value of 1.5 million euros (approximately IDR 22 billion) per year. However, the nominal can increase if the player's performance is good with AC Milan.

Last season, Zlatan Ibrahimovic's performance was disrupted by injury. However, he can make 27 appearances in all AC Milan matches.
